It's an emotional/chilling read, I'll be curious to hear what you think. I shall read 'In Order to Live' next and see for myself. It will be interesting to see if the two characters in each book shared similar views of their country. Cheers for the tip.

Kaydo, are you are a chick? NO WAY! I thought you was a dude! Maybe you get dude feminists? Scottish women have always been pretty strong , 'are yeh hawnless',

Thought you'd have sussed that one Robbie! ;-)
Actually no, I was of the opinion, given Kaydos posting style that she was a dude. I said as much ages ago, but well we are human and prone to aberration and mistakes are therefore inevitable. Its illogical and unreasonable to think otherwise.

Kaydo what ails you, are we not Scots, on this night of our national poet, can we not breach the East- West divide?

To you West of Scotland losers...I would suggest you berth Michelle McManus at Faslane. She could make Trident redundant, as, should she explode from her size 20 dress, the Northern hemisphere would be toast. No offence.
We like 'meaty', chicks in Glasgow, no stick insects please

Can I ask a serious and genuine question? Do you ladies self identify as feminists?
I can't speak for anyone else. But... Yes, of course I am. Of course I would like to see a females paid the same as a man for equal work and yes I would support a female's rights over control of her own body and yes I'm right behind women who want to defend their rights to be independent and not be controlled and demeaned by anyone who thinks they are better than they are because of gender. I don't study feminism, I don't wave banners or write books or burn my bra.
I'm just someone who believes females should have equal treatment and respect and be given the same consideration, credit and admiration in their achievements... hence this thread.
Got a problem with that?

Please don't make nasty body-shaming comments in my thread.

Me neither. I wouldn't want to take a short week home to you Babytigrrr!! :-)
Ditto.
You guys should watch the Vietnamese/Chinese film Red River. Its about a young girl that gets traumatised by witnessing her fathers death and grows up 'retarded', for want of a better word. She meets someone who closely resembles her father and starts a platonic relationship. He tries to help her but there are other powerful forces attempting to exploit her and eventually they have to contend with a powerful crime boss. An awesome film set on the border of China and Vietnam, watch it if you dare!
