(This is kinda long)

I was in art class today, and I was talking in a really high pitched voice, as a joke. Someone told me my voice was really overwhelming them. I apoligsed immediately and said I wouldn't do it again.

Then this girl came up to me at the end of class. I barely know this girl, keep in mind. I don't think she knows the person who was overwhelmed either.

She asked me why i was using the voice, and I told her the truth. She then told me I was right to listen when the other girl snapped. But she was doing it really patronisingly.

So I asked her why she was speaking that way. She pretended she wasn't doing anything.

I don't understand why the situation needed to be brought up once it was over. I apologised, and we all moved on. I wanna know if I'm missing something here. Am I in the wrong? :[
