Grammar Nazi: Adverb Placement

Please, let us take care to place the adverb before the word it modifies, and not after it.

For example, rather than "enjoyed immensely," let us say "immensely enjoyed."

I appreciate much it.

The problem is that some poor wretch is likely to seriously take you.

Due respect, but the problem is that you inserted an adverb between "to" and "take" which together form the infinitive. Though your feedback is greatly appreciated, since you used "to" as a preposition, your sentence cannot be diagrammed.

Please understand that those of us diagnosed with OCD agonize over these matters.

Please understand that none if those are grammatically incorrect

Stupid autocorrect. None OF those

"None" is singular. You should have written, "Please understand that none of those is grammatically incorrect."

brumtown is quite right !!

Sorry, but he isn't. He used "those" as the object of the preposition "of." The subject of the sentence is "none," and "none" is singular. He's a good egg, though.

And while we are on the grammar topic, let's also remember not to end sentences with prepositions.

As said by Winston Churchill, "Ending a sentence with a preposition is a practice up with which we should not put."
