Final report on the police situation: completely legitimate, since it's night patrol I would expect four officers instead of two but I don't know enough to be certain on that
I think something can be learned from all of this.
For anyone reading this, don't make a fool of yourself by lying on the internet. Anyone can see these posts, and they will be around forever. There is always a better way to get some attention. Just wear an embarrassing outfit and go outside. It works all the same.

here's my take on what happened:
max_arsenal believes lily and badcrawdad seemed to get the right answers to corroborate her story. so i think lily definitely had an altercation with her father and then ended up in a holding cell in police custody and then ended up at her moms house. however, there's no records of her being in juvie, so she was just in the holding cell and was then released to her mom.
i haven't talked to lily so this is just my opinion 🤷♂️
