HELLO

    In other news over the weekend, the Academy Awards ceremony was held last night at the newly renovated Chess.com Auditorium located on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills.  In the middle of the ritual, black on black violence erupted for the 1st time in their 300 yr old history  when Will Smith....who was up for best actor in "King Richard".... felt he should of won. When the winner was announced, he got up and slapped the presenter, Chris Rock. He then, angrily sat back down screaming expletives that cannot be posted on Chess.com....                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Chess.com fearing liability lawsuits, to their credit quickly went to a commercial break for their worldwide audience.....followed by a Pizza Hut commercial, and an arthritis pain commercial.                                                                                                               

    I for one don't feel that the Academy Awards, or Chess.com should be spending large amounts of money for Statures for "best actor" & " best actress". Instead, Chess.com should give the "Golden NUT" award from Battlebots.                                                                                                                                   .....because you have to be NUTS to make movies for a living, or post on Chess.com. 

What an exciting weekend it has been.

the oscars are a joke, but those involved think it means something.

    Saw an interesting episode of "The Dead Files" last week. Normally, Steve & Amy go to someone's house to deal with spirits & dead people. But this time, they were invited to investigate Flagstaff Arizona. The big reveal was in a movie theater with a large audience.   It seems that the entire town is haunted  because back in the 1800's, the train went through the center of town. One day there was a large explosion and a lot of people got killed. Those people aren't happy about they way they exited the world, and Amy has said before that the way you deal with life is sometimes the way people deal with death, so...... IDK, I just thought it was an interesting format.....dealing with a lot of people in the movie theater.

I think he was a teenager at the time and he had some youtube videos out with him ice skating and playing the piano. He probably has something approximating a life about now.

Yes, this one, I got the impression he was a teenager too.  I didn't see his videos, I just remember a huge amount of forum posts by him. 

He may have taken the videos down, due to too many weirdos posting in the comments. I tried to find them but couldn't after he unlinked them from his home page. It's unfortunate that this is a major feature of life on line these days.

    I'm really not trying to get this thread locked but I thought I should post it in one of my threads rather than someone else's. I ran into this by accident while looking for a picture of Doctor Strange playing chess. This has a touch of politics in it, so you don't have to click on the link.       I'm printing out the ENTIRE CHESS.COM FORUM....  every thread.  I can call it the "Voyich Manuscript"...... I'll make a fortune..... nothing makes any sense......people will be talking about it 200 yrs from now. 

That manuscript looks like the diary of a madman.

   On the History Channel, "Histories Greatest Mysteries" with Lawrence Fishburn. did an episode on it. 

Did anyone ever figure out what it was or was it just a bunch of gibberish with weird illustrations?

    Not yet..... One theory is that its written in an "alien" language.  Another theory is that Leonardo DaVinci wrote it. The age of the paper is 1300 to 1400 hundreds. The last theory the show had was that it was a big scam by a rare book dealer to make a lot of money. My money's on Bigfoot. 

My money is on an unmedicated schizophrenic.
