now this is a curry donut from four leaves bakery - i think it sells at SG$1.50 now.
the 1st time i ate a curry donut was in the 70s, in a bakery called bunderole (i think) within yaohan shopping centre or plaza singapura as it is known now. in the 80s i think it was SG$0.60 since i don't remember handing $ before that. they also had a ham & melted cheese donut for S$0.40. i also remember the smile of the nice eurasian lady cashier there ;-) anyway the curry donut was amazing.
curry bun bread is.....strange in Singapore, very strange
I prefer curry puffs - Old Chung or Chong or Chang or Ching outlets, not the present ones. in the 90's, they were better...........
