How tall is the table? The first one to answer it correct will get….

Sort:

-y+z+170 = x

y-z+130 = x

X = Table Height

Y = Turtle Height

Z = Cat Height

Or so I think. Plug 'em in. I'll be waiting.

X = -20
Y = 150
Z = 0

How in the world did you get that chat-

Avatar of BlueHairedPerson13
-20-150+0= 170
-20+150-0= 130

Check it with a calculator its correct

the top one is "-170 = 170" in your equation silly

(Gotta absolute it tho so you dont get negitive 170)

But you could just flip the table around and go from what would normally be the bottom of the table, that would give you -170 if you think about it

That's not how math works silly

Let 'x' be the height of the cat. Let 'z' be the height of the table. Let 'y' be the height of the turtle. Then, A/Q:-

x+z-y=170

y+z-x=130

Now, if we add both equations, then this comes: (x+y+z+z-y-x)=170+130

2z=300

z=150

And since the value of z is equal to the height of the table. Therefore, height of the table is 150cm.
