I do feel I should reply to this.

First of all, you're confusing evolutionary theory with another discipline. In fact, the theory of evolution isn't really a theory at all, not any more; it's a toolkit, a method, one which working scientists use every day, one which provides a complete, elegant, self-contained and completely satisfying explanation for the origin of species - and it's simple too (the best theories often are). However, evolution says nothing at all about how life, or matter, or the universe arose, that's a quite different field of enquiry, called abiogenesis.

Secondly, we know that time is a function of space. This is one of the outcomes of relativity theory and it's been proved, beyond any dispute now, by a host of experiments that have been successfully replicated thousands of times since Einstein first formulated this idea in 1921; so to postulate what may have happened before big bang is a dead end - there was no "before" big bang, not in the sense that we understand temporal space, anyway.

One final point: I'm entitled to my opinion, just like everyone else. I know, I know, this is an emotive subject but it's an interesting and important one too. Now, while you're clearly a thoughtful and intelligent person, threatening people who won't accept your view with some kind of sweeping, wrathful, mega-meta-virtual-destruction just makes you look demented, frankly...

...not unlike the God of the Old Testament, now I come to think of it.
