I'm not good at expressing my feeling, thus I wrote this letter,
Hoping my silence might sound a little better.
Words may tremble where my voice would fall,
But in these lines, I give you my all
You are a princess from fairy lore,
What could a guy like me ask for more?
Like a long-lost traveler who found a door,
Like the wild Arabian sea meets shore.
You are the loveliest illusion,
That leaves me in a sweet confusion.
I’m speechless at your persuasion.
You stole me without seeking evasion
Such a storm inside that innocent calm
And still it falls for my quiet charm
Are you the peace I found through penance?
My words fall quiet in your presence.
When west wind kisses my head, I think of you
My grey world paints a rainbow hue
Just like your name I’m absorbed in your grace
A master of senses, now senseless in your embrace
It was my fault, I trusted you,
Foolish me, thought illusion would come true.
Everything felt right... then broke in two.
You were too good to be true, I knew.
