I start walking over to where rook is standing.“Rook? Who’re you talking to over there?”(I don’t know that Sri is alive and I still want him dead)
Will comes over after finishing his daily testing, wondering what the commotion is about He spots the blacksmith, R00K and Torch all talking to each other furiously. He decides not to intrude right away and listens from behind a tree.

“Who the hell’s he? I haven’t seen him around in a while… is he the new blacksmith?” Torch still can’t recognize the resurrected face of Sri, having not been there when he was killed.
"I'm the new blacksmith, employed in Slash's army"
Will found it odd, but at that moment he remembered the note. He wondered if the blacksmith had been passing it on from someone else, or if he was too stupid to understand it and it really meant something else. He wondered if maybe it had all been a dream. He had lost the note and could not find it no matter where he looked.

Will thought to himself. He decided the note must have been a dream. The blacksmith seemed to avoid discussing anything relating to Slash at all costs.

The testing had been going well. However there was much still to do. He knew he would need guards soon, as it was unsafe to continue testing with no one guarding the entrance
