Haha! That means you have problems--why else would you drink?

'troy', wrote.. {re. the source of 'energy'} ..What there is, is just energy, unlimited energy that pours in, day and night. Pure, unlimited bliss without a cause.

'troy'.. Unless you're irrationally giving yourself a 'pass' in 'reading into' the reason, why we're on the receiving end, of all this awareness and 'energy'.. going back, way-back-when - Since you repeatedly remind everyone else, who ascribes a particular 'meaning' to something.. as being merely 'projecting' something that they want, or believe, to be the case; How can you know, that the 'energy' enveloping us, is "without a 'cause' "!? .. As in, a reason or even reasons, why it's occuring, in the 1st place!? - A, 'Double Standard'.. perhaps?! o:

First of all, you are out of touch with that 'energy enveloping us'. It's a pleasant, cozy thought, but as long as you keep projecting the ancient image of a father looking down to us, a personalized creator, that energy is just another projection.

When that supernatural factor goes--as a result of fear ending--then that energy will be more than an image.

 Then you will see that it has no cause, it happens, it exists without any reason. But first you must be completely free of reason and intention in yourself; if you feel lonely then you will invent an image which you then give a non-image status.

You will also look for a creator of this energy, as such image gives you shelter from fear. 

It's like the president: he/she must be self-sufficient, have enough money so they won't be tempted by corruption in conducting their job as presidents. Of course, they are inwardly corrupted, but that's another mater.

And the same here: you must not depend on any projections as shelters from fear, which means you must be completely free of fear.

Only then will you not project a cause of that energy, and so you'll be able to say it has no cause.

 Nothing can bring it or provoke it into manifestation. No trickery works with it, no strings can be pulled. It is the Absolute and Pristine Energy. Nothing can touch it.

I {thoughtfully}, read,your reply, 'troy' -And, have concluded, that You Are giving yourself a 'pass'! .. It's just that you have, what must amount to, {metaphorical}, Many multiple levels of {horse} 'blinders' affecting, your perceptions.

.. To the extent, that, Everyone else, {who sees things different than yourself}, Only believes, as they do, as a means of coping with, one of your Favorite concepts, as applied to others, Ie. - 'Fear'!

In Truth, No human, can claim, unequivically.. that a certain condition{s} exists.. because, it amounts to being, 'Just Is'! - Obviously, you're 'projecting' what You believe to be True.. But, since I would imagine, 'troy' that, Even your {literal}, 'shit stinks' .. I, and just about every other 'reader' here, {with the possible exception of 'Tom'}.. Do Not regard you, as being, 'omniscient'..{all knowing}.. Which, is the Only way, one can say definitively, about, Any number of things.. This is the way it Is! ..Deal with it!

.. Even, 'believers' rely on 'Faith'! .. Which, is a different 'kettle-of-fish'.. than saying, It's been 'definitively, {scientifically}, proved'! o:

Pardon, my own lack, of polite deference, to your own 'bull-headed', sleight-of-mind/'B.S' pontificating. ..{likely, my final retort.. vis-a-vis, yourself.. since our 'twain'.. aint likely, to be bridged}.

 We are looking at whether or not the self exists, Tom. I say it's real, but it's based on an illusion. Just like a killer, whose actions are real but they are based on illusions.

 Fear is not a concept, but a fact. However, if you ran away from it and found a safe cocoon in a superstitious belief, it cannot be seen. It's there, buried deep inside but looking at it causes it to collapse, and so one avoids looking in order to save the cocoon.

And again, the sublime energy has no cause. But first you must be free from the chain of causality. In yourself.

I respectfully disagree: 'bliss' is not a strong enough word, as no word can do it justice.

 Whether we realize it or not, each of us carries about with us a mental blueprint or picture of ourselves. (re-read)

It may be vague and ill-defined to our conscious gaze. In fact, it may not be consciously recognizable at all. (an arena for manipulations)-[Opinion]

But it is there, complete down to the last detail. This self-image is our own conception of the "sort of person I am." It has been built up from our own beliefs about ourselves. 

But most of these beliefs about ourselves have unconsciously been formed from our past experiences, our successes and failures, our humiliations, our triumphs, and the way other people have reacted to us, especially in early childhood. [Ring, ring?]

From all these we mentally construct a "self" (or a picture of a self). Once an idea or belief about ourselves goes into this picture it becomes "true," as far as we personally are concerned. We do not question its validity, but proceed to act upon it just as if it were true.

(1) All your actions, feelings, behavior—even your abilities—are always consistent with this self-image. (KEY)

(2) The self-image can be changed. (KEY)

From, 'self-image' quotes, {at the end, of my post} - I suppose it Is odd.. When we Always seem to hear {or read}, about, 'Unconditional Love' as it applies to other people!

And, partly related.. Everyone it seems, whether consciously or sub-conciously; Is looking, for a 'niche' in Life that, gives them a sense, of being, of potential benefit to others; Of whatever form, that may take!

This is a product, of filling the psychological human need, of being known & appreciated, for something. - Sometimes, even.. 2 people, will Not feel mutually fulfilled.. if their 'paths' happen to 'cross.' - Whether it be, the 'Carlson's and 'Kajakin's of the World.. Or Even, the 'troys' and, most everyone, else!  [ ;

Then again.. 'Minority' paradigm 'thinkers'.. have throughout history, proved useful ! .. If Only, to help identify, the 'Whys-and-Wherefores' in numerous areas of interest, and-or 'conflict'! o:

589: Agreed. That's the program imprinted. Now we can go two ways: either resign and accept the program; or get rid of the program altogether. Not as a choice, but a reminder that two responses are possible.

How about postponing to resign, for just a little longer, there is always time for that.

There is a deeper meaning here, but I don't want to mix it up just yet, as it might dilute the message.

 I would put it the other way: the self-image is the cause unconditional love is not.

However, this is too simplistic. The absence of the self-image doesn't guarantee the presence of unconditional love. 

But you can't start from love, while the image is there: that is wishful thinking, that 'love' is the solution, when in fact it's just a projection of love. One more escape.
