Long Lasting Memories (Written in 2021)

There are very few people who last for a very long time on chess.comn. Real life comes into your way and you eventually get away from this site unless you are deeply into chess . Some get banned .

I have been guilty of being too emotionally connected to people in a very short span of time and getting heartbroken later . So it's important to not have any deep attachments . To everyone reading this and those on my friends list ,  I like you all a lot but there will be a time when not all of us would be here on this site . People come and go .

I am writing this post , so that it becomes a memory and I can look back at it after 10 years . Read all your comments and remember you if you don't make it to that time

I agreee with you!

Another important thing that happens after the rise of the internet is that we have a lot of virtual friends and probably never will see them personally.

For example, you in India and me in Brazil, we have little chance of seeing each other in person. But let's enjoy what we can:-)

@Anonymous_Dragon It's wise to be gentle with you're heart, but I hope you can still allow deeper connections, maybe just at a slower pace?

Welp that's actually a good idea . Better to take the middle way instead of going towards different extremes (either getting attached quickly or not getting attached at all being the two ends) . I will try to follow it .

Nice

Brisingaro

i come and go in the chess community but u can always be sure to find me back here, i could never completely leave chess.com something always sparks my joy for chess and this community is the best for me to play on, sadly i can't get above 400 ranking on most of the versions of chess on here but i still enjoy playing even if most of the people are far more skilled than me.

it's not about the destination, it's about the friends u make along the way.

Who will make it? Who will perish along the way?
It’s like wondering which gladiator will survive the battle… the next game… to freedom?
Don’t fall away… I’ve got 3 more years in me… forget me in 10, but read this post, and don’t be too hasty.
