Chess.com has, over the past several years, become a huge haven for kids. Why? Because parents and schools tend to not to block the website, considering it to be place to play chess only.

The forums there have become awash with kids, who discuss a large array of topics...but almost never chess.

That's a different problem I was not going to mention. Chess.com forums are currently being hit by a spammer who is posting the most vile images they can find on every thread they can hit before getting banned, and those images have stayed up for hours at a time on more than one occasion, because the Chess.com forums are only policed by a volunteer moderator group that only "works" when they decide to, so there are often long periods of no coverage at all.

And I assure you that by "vile" I mean the worst kind of degrading violence/sex/depravity images designed to make adults toss their cookies, not just kids.

If you have kids on Chess.com in the forums, ask them about IdiotBox and see what they are willing to tell you about his posts...
