I have a couple videos that I edited that I can show you, however I made those over three years ago and they may seem a bit childish. If possible, I would prefer to make a new one.

A friend hears a stupid idea and gets on board with no reason to do so, just because they think it'll be fun. Obviously a friend isn't gonna do professional editing for free, but a friend would be happy to trim videos in the hopes of creating something big.
I didn't say the people offering to do it for free are in the wrong or are not friends or friendship-capable. It's the OP that will be using them, knowingly.
1K subscribers will pay well under $100 a month and only pennies to a few dollars per video being edited. The OP will definitely not share a cent of that, so what he is really saying is "edit my stuff for free and carry me, and if I get a ton of money later off your work and can easily afford to share some, I'll give you a 'bonus'...". Note that even there he offers the promise of future compensation in a non-committal and non-recurring way.
Some people have said they don't need money but others may want some, I'm offering them a certain percent based on how much the video makes

He's a troll. He tries to trigger us in the hopes of either wasting our time, getting us upset and ruining our day, or to try and makes us break ToS so he can report us. Can you block him?
