All the spam threads would get locked or deleted, and if spammers keep making new ones they would simply get muted or banned. Problem solved.
If a mod did that, they wouldn't be one for long.
There are rules that get followed and if you really want the direction of moderation changed, you will need to convince erik to change what gets moderated.
