I noticed that there is very little math discussion on the OTF, so I started this forum to encourage mathematics discussion. Math is an underappreciated, but unimaginably important field. People often question the importance of mathematics research, but seemingly unimportant discoveries often turn out to be incredibly useful, but this importance is sometimes not understood and utilized until hundreds of years after the discovery. Mathematics rules!
