I thought I had posted this video somewhere else but I couldn't find it so here it is. I fell in love with Taiko drumming when I saw some in an Olympics performance somewhere years ago. Besides the incredible precision and sound of the drumming, everyone in the auditorium could feel the drums pulsing through them. It must have been wonderful. It's a bit long. I picked it for the number of drums to demonstrate the precision of the drummers.
edit: I've watched that video several times and just now noticed the people holding the banners at the back of the auditorium are participating in the performance at the finale.

Interesting, the performers appear to be wearing short sleeved martial arts uniform gi's with belts and take martial arts stances when drumming.
I haven't read much about Taiko drumming. It's like performance art the audience can see, hear, and feel.
