When Musk bought Twitter he fired a bunch of executives so he could put people he wanted in those positions. Fair enough. However, the people he let go had contracts with Twitter stipulating how much severance pay they would receive and Musk is trying to weasel out of paying them.
He also demanded that workers at the Tesla factory in Fremont, CA work through the pandemic with no protections. The county closed the facility temporarily and when they approved re-opening with certain safety precautions, he re-opened the plant first and added protective measures later. (He got fined.) He also told his employees that they could go on unpaid leave if they felt unsafe during covid but fired some of them (union organizers) when they did so.
That facility has also been sued successfully by several employees for sexist and racist harassment by by management and has been cited for unsafe working conditions more than three times as often as any other auto plant. Not to mention numerous fines for improper hazardous waste handling.
Musk doesn't care for anything that doesn't make more money for him and will deliberately break laws and fail to honor agreements if e thinks he can get a few dollars more that way. And there are always the Tesla customers who die because they believe Musk's "these cars are virtually self-driving and will be totally automated in a year or two" claims he has been making for 20 years.

A judge is keeping Musk from going full trump and, try as he might to not pay people for their work, like only a garbage sociopath with worms where a heart is supposed to be would do, he will have to pay people for the work they already did.
