Nobody’s happy that they died. It’s just a joke that Americans can’t see the obvious correlation between their relaxed gun laws and shootings within our country and that so many people think that shootings are necessary to keep the second amendment in tact.

what is the corelation with no crime and many guns in wyoming?

That's the emotional argument everyone trots out. But the right to own a gun is guaranteed to Americans by the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights. This will never be changed. This incident was not done by the owner of a legal firearm; it was done by a gang member. Gun owners that legally own their firearms are responsible people who believe in gun safety at all times. I know this because I own three of them. The only way they will ever leave my possession is if I decide to sell them.

We don't have a constitution here so I really don't care about it. Why can't you just change the constitution? What's the big deal

A constitution seems really pointless to me

CBB, a constitution is the highest law in the USA. It's important because it limits the power of a government, provides rights to the people and gives us something to base our life on. Limiting government is important so no party or single person can become a dictator. Giving people rights means that they have various liberties and things that are guaranteed to them: life, freedom of speech, protection against harsh punishments, right to bear arms to defend themselves, the list goes on and on.

As people have said before and I have said before, the problem is not with the guns themselves. It's with the people using them. Whoever is organizing these shootings will aquire guns for the shooters, regardless of the law. If guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns.

Taking away the people's right to bear arms will NOT stop the gangs in our cities, the school shootings, or homlcldes. All it will do is prevent people from defending themselves.

But we would never have a dictator and have all those rights as well (except for guns). It just seems like constitutions makes it hard to change bad laws
