1) This is debateable and subject to one's opinion, of course. The most exciting Super Bowl for me was Super Bowl XIII.
2) I'm not sure how you would define "highest level." (Least mistakes? IT can't be most yardage or most points because then the DEFENSE is not playing at a high level.)
3) The biggest upset was when the heavily favored Colts (17, 18, 19 points, depending upon what source you read) lost to Joe Namath and the New York Jets in Super Bowl III.
need a superbowl expert
I am old enough to have seen the first Super Bowl but it was a boring blowout. It is a matter of opinion and a matter of which team you root for as to which was best. I liked Super Bowl 5 where the Baltimore Colts beat the Dallas Cowboys 16-13 because it was the first really close Super Bowl (and the fact that I was a Colts fan at that time). I remember Jim O'Brien kicking a field goal at the end of the game to win it. Super Bowl 10 where the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Dallas Cowboys 21-17 was a good one also. I'm not a fan of either team but it was close exciting game. SB 16 was good one. Joe Montana rallied his 49ers to beat the Bengals. Super Bowl 23 was same result, same teams. My favorite recent one was the Ravens beating the 49ers a couple years. Of course I'm prejudiced since I'm a Ravens fan now.
I come from the antipodean lands. There isn't much football here. Well, it is on TV. But I will admit that I have always liked football.
I am dying to ask questions to people who have watched a lot of it. Come on! I know that there are some football tragics and nuts here! Your spouse shakes her head in disbelief that you keep a whole room of gridiron gear, momentoes, jumpers and other stuff. You tell her proudly that you have a real jockstrap from a QB in superbowl 4.
1. What was the most exciting superbowl?
2. What was the one with the higest level of football?
3. Biggest upset?
