@Nitaverna, if you have some legal representation for your upcoming trial (a lawyer or public defender) you may want to mention to them that you are on the brink of homelessness. They may not be able to do anything for you but maybe the judge will take it into consideration. It might be a long shot but if I were in your shoes I would seek help from anywhere (even if it’s just for advice). I agree with Llama, churches might be your best option. Not only do a lot of them provide meals, they may also have connections to other organizations that can help.
ill bring it up to my P.D
as of churches, theres a few around here i can try going to.
however, i looked up shelters, and they're all exorbitantly far away. not to mention i'll have no way to contact anyone considering my mother took away both my phone and laptop
(i'm writing this from a school laptop)
Is living with you mother not an option? It might not seem/be ideal but it might be better than sleeping on the streets. (Even if it’s temporary it might buy you some time.)
Whatever happens, I don’t think you need to travel too far away from people you know if you can help it. Unless you find a really good place that can help you out and point you in the right direction.
Dose your school have any counselors? Surly there is someone on staff that you can talk to.
what a start to the next chapter in life ,
so your key things are shelter, and a way to get food water etc ,
if you are rural , seek working accomodation on the land with wage for example a farm worker
if you are urban it gets tougher , there are loads of services but loads of folk needing them , but look to perhaps a hostel , these can be rough , but there will be more food help in cities and towns
this is only a chapter in life it may be one you experience good times in , but dont loose sight of the fact its not permanent if you push to get a home as often as possible
Do you have any friends in school who would be able to either house you for a few nights, be able to drive you to a shelter or just help you find a place to get shelter. Or are your friends nosy and you do you not want to tell your friends about your current situation right now?
That's understandable? How could you understand any of this when you still have mommy and daddy providing you with everything you need?
I thought you were commenting on the OP and the topic. I apologies for the harsh response.
panda yours is an assumption,do you know tacoc personally ,i doubt it , but you bring up a pertinant point , so let me explain why ive chosen to comment inthis thread
i am 56 ,i first became homeless at 17 ,and have been homeless for 17 years ,a third of my life i speak from experience my friend
ive even enjoyed it ,there is a freedom to no bills but the price you pay is no home
but im not going back to homelessness ,it kills folk young ,id not last more than a winter or two
so now i work, rent pay bills
i hope the op, sees this is not permanent , homelessness and they can improve their situation no matter how much effort that takes
i wish them well and hope they have the home they need soon
here is an interesting few stats that might point to the solution a society can take to end homelessness
the op is american , so first lets see how many are homeless by govt figures in america
last dated 2023 , ,,,,,548, 462 ,
ok now how many properties are empty in america ?
16 ,000 ,000 properties are currently empty in america
now this same tow questions can be asked of many countries in the west and most i bet will show more empties than homeless
so a govt can pass a law stating properties must be used whilst society needs it
at present the housing stock is limited so the suppliers can demand more

This is precisely why I say $'s pathetic and how given we never had such a system we'd be far more advanced a civilization, we'd not even need cars, we'd be teleportation and manifesting what we needed, the altered clarity of living, never confined to the captivity it's caused, our present system. This even was an old thread I made on my previous now dormant acc. Shall I get you the link to it?
