Nintendo Switch Game Recommendations?

So, for the love of everything, read this before you comment. I don't care if it's too long. I spent 30 minutes typing this and trying to figure out what to say.

(i dont know why i normally start all of my threads with "So...") 

At the end of each quarter, I receive five dollars for every "A" I make. I get $25 every quarter, so at the end of the year, I have $100 just sitting in the top shelf of my dresser. I spent $10 on a book Saturday, and $15 dollars for one from Amazon. I spent $20 on a Switch E-Shop card back in April. I now have $170+ (because of last year's grades) and I want to spend it on a game for my Switch(with some money remaining), but I'm not sure what to buy. I think I could buy two games with what I have right now. Maybe a game and an Amiibo instead.

What do I look for in a game? 

Open world exploration, plenty of things to do after completing the main story (loz & XenoC3), action, good graphics and smooth running ( my switch doesnt need to sound like an airplane ). Fighting is ok, I just don't want to spend every second of the game fighting or checking behind my back. That's pretty much it. 

Also, Amiibo recommendations?

I'm open to pretty much anything

Super Mario Odyssey? Idk if it was on that list, but if it isnt you should definitely play it. Its hands down the best Mario game
