Yes, it was Putin that caused heartache and mad unfair bloodshed, and not Russia itself, in fact many weren’t at all happy his choices regarding Ukraine, and I agree they shouldn’t remove the flag on the grounds obviously as they have.

I understand, but I believe they did it in wake of the unjust invasion of Ukraine. In order to show support, the site has removed the flag in order to make a statement to Putin that almost no one besides him and Belarusian president Lukashenko and a few thousand followers who actually justify the invasion. If you are upset because you support the Russian Federation in the invasion of a democratic country, Ukraine to be specific, then nyet, I will not support your wish and anger. But, if you are truly a pacifist and believe that the Russian people who aren’t bad unlike their leader deserve respect because they had no say in the invasion, then of course, I stand with you.
May you please give further insight on why you are upset? Do you support Putin or are you a supporter of the innocent Russian people?

I've discovered chess.com this year and bought membership right away . Then chess.com removed Russian flag . I cant explain how disappointed and hurt I was by such low , unfair, hateful gesture from the site that I was so happy to discover just weeks prior. I know that you don't care about my personal feelings and maybe even were pressured to remove the flag but I know you also care about money and I dont think I will be renewing my membership next year.
