I heard he forgot to mention Alberta while listing the provinces in a Canada Day speech. To be fair to him Alberta is fairly forgettable.

In other political news, German chancellor Merkel was caught rolling her eyes as Putin explained something to her. They have both been in power for years, almost like a married couple I'm sure she's heard all of his arguments before.

From time to time we feature people who are candidates for the " Dunce Of The Year Award ". This story comes from Springfield, Mass ( if memory serves ). It seems that a Mom in that area felt that her kids needed to have some extra fun. She put the small youngsters into a little plastic wagon, hooked the wagon to the rear bumper of her car and pulled them down the street at up to 30 mph. Mind you in her defence she did stay off the freeway   lol.  

i feel for the kids. mostly because they have her genes. 

What was really surprising is that the "lady", when arrested, insisted there was nothing wrong with her actions.

well, baddy, a few years ago i moved to a crazy state in our union, and, it seems that, to feel better about themselves, they like reporting about crazy sh*t in other states. 

Thanks for the post AlCzervik. Well we do like to laugh at other people. Going back to the early days of film with Laurel & Hardy as well as Buster Keaton and of course Charlie Chaplin we loved it when something bad happened to the Stars in those movies.

Over the years we have seen many " I want to be a GM " threads in these forums. Recently a 14 yr old lad from the USA ( Awonder Liang ) was able to reach that mark. He is the 10th youngest person to achieve that rank ( good luck to the rest of you   lol ).

i beat that guy 13 yeas ago in a game where i distracted him with a cartoon and swiped his queen off the board.

Sometimes all of this high-tech stuff is not the greatest. Recently a local university here in Alberta lost $ 11.8 million ( about 9.5 million dollars US ) in a " Fishing Scam " of some sort thru the internet. They do expect to recover some of the money, I guess time will tell how much tho.
