Odds & Ends ( Part II )

From time to time " The Dunce Of The Year Award " is handed out in this thread and we have 4 new candidates. There are these 4 Clowns ( or Morons etc etc ) in the Northeastern part of Australia who have posted a interesting photo. They are playing around inside a large baited trap set up to capture Crocodiles. What can one say except Stupid Stupid Stupid !!!

i may have written this previously...

there was a story in fl about a drunk woman that insisted on swimming on the side of a lake known to be infested with alligators. well, one bit off one of her arms. oh, the uprising! this poor woman! authorities then tried to hunt whichever 'gator had eaten her arm to kill it. 

and i'm thinking, they should just shoot the woman instead.

AlCzervik: Yes that is a good point about a lack of intelligence ( I mean on the part of the woman ).                

I've never understood the purpose of hunting down an animal to kill it after something like that. Is it petty vengeance? Some superstition that it's going to be more dangerous now that it's tasted human blood?

i agree, blarg. and after living near 'gators, they don't care what the meal is.

it seems like residents in some areas have zero understanding that we are in their habitat. 

years ago, in a suburb of chicago, residents wanted permission to shoot coyotes because a few dogs had been taken. this was an urban area, so, yeah, shooting guns at moving targets is a great idea!

Thanks for the post Shadowcat53. Yes we have had periods of snow off and on ( maybe close to 1 foot in total ). I had Radio 660 on here earlier today and they mentioned problems with driving on highways 1 & 2 in the Calgary area. 

So you used to like going to Toys R Us to see what was new in the world of games and other fun stuff ? Well those days are gone as Walmart and Amazon ( etc ) have driven that outfit out of business. Yup all 735 stores owned by Toys R Us are being closed and 33,000 workers will be out of jobs.

Dunce Of The Year Awards: Some Dummy recently wanted to get a tattoo on his eyeball. Yup I kid you not, those round things that we see with ( and of course there are some problems now ). So who is the biggest moron here ? Is it the person who was stupid enough to ask for this crazy tattoo or the idiot who did the job ?  

I can understand the eyelid...but not the eyeball..

well....

baddy, if you are willing to give me a million bucks to tattoo one of your eyeballs, i probably would.

I've witnessed LSD to the eye ball...
