Aren't you amazed I found this forum?! I am-- I barely know how to find anything on this site! -- 😊
Oh Oh --- I've Heard The Geese Again ( Part II )
Thanks for the post Motherinlaw. Yes I find these computers are confusing but they are a lot of fun when they want to work properly. Btw I've had to restart the Oldtimers thread as well ( the Trolls are among us lol ).
And now to the Weather: we are barely at 40 above here ( FA scale ) and are having some snow flurries. I did look at my calendar and it is indeed May 14th, not March 14th or even April 14th.
Mind you they are worse off in the north-western part of the province with a bit of flooding happening in the Peace River area.
We have had a wet Spring in this area so far which creates lots of small ponds and such. Then the stagnant water leads to getting a lot of mosquitos in the area, not fun at all.
Mosquito Report: I was outside for a while this afternoon and a bunch of mosquitos were tying to gang up on me and drag me away. Yes we need Help !!! Send in the Dragons !!! No No not the big ones, I mean the Dragon-flies, they like to feast on those darn mosquitoes.
Thanks for the post Motherinlaw. I heard the other week that Montreal was also having some flooding problems.
Dear badenwurtca, Do commenters in the "Oldtimers" site know how to find this one? Could you find out by messaging them? Would you want to?--MIL
Thanks for the post Motherinlaw. I've started a new thread ( In Off Topics ) in order to list the changes that I needed to make due to the troll invasions so therefore when people come across that new thread it should explain things. The thread title is: " My New Threads ( Confusing ? Sorry lol ) ".
The only confusing thing (I Think) is that I don't know how to get to it -- would you message me with Detailed directions some time? :-)
Thanks for the new post Motherinlaw. I'm afraid that I do not know very much about computers so I can't be of much help. What I'll do is to bump those threads once in a while so they are easier to find in this " Off Topic " forum.
Yes we had Weather today lol. The afternoon was not that nice here as we had some light rain. Mind you I should not complain too much as it turned out that a tornado touched down in the southern part of Alberta. The lucky part was that the storm landed out in a rural area and very little damage was done.
And we, in the U.S. South, have been in a bad drought, and now we're having torrential rains! Has anybody suggested that maybe the planet is going through some kind of -- I don't know -- some kind of -- "climate change?"
Due to some little difficulties with Trolls and/or sock-puppets I've had to restart this thread ( as the Geese would say: Honk Honk lol ).
