lol i used to work in a department store in brighton . now closed , called hanningtons , and that was just like are you being served , i got the sack after a few years , was happy to be severed from them tbh with you as the pay wasnt good and the work (i was in warehouse) was relentless

   ---   Yes old Red Green had a cute little show on the go. The " Are You Being Served " series was very very good with a terrific cast ( Yup you need talented players   lol ). 

I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days. The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days. And the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days. And the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day, and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in the evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half.

you ever hear how they hated each other off set (steptoe and son ) cottonsock

Just heard about the passing of Robert Guillaume at age 89. He created the character of Benson in the " SOAP " TV show and then later appeared in the spin-off series as well.

Just saw where John Hillerman has passed away at age 84. Most people would probably remember him for his portrayal of Higgins on " Magnum PI " ( a role he won an Emmy for in 1987 ). He also appeared on a number of other TV shows as well as in several films.

A sad day for those of us who were fans of " The Partridge Family " TV series. David Cassidy has passed away at age 67.

Thanks for the post Kaynight. The British TV series " Likely Lads " is one show that did not get much airplay over here so I don't know much about Rodney Bewes. Did he appear in other shows as well ?
