A funny sit-com from some years ago was " Coach ". Jerry Van Dyke was a featured player on that show, sad to see that he has passed away at age 86.
Old TV Shows ( Part II )
Frasier
--- I'm sorry to have to report that John Mahoney who played the father in that series has passed away at age 77.

"Tales of the Unexpected" (TV Series) was first aired between 1979 and 1988.written by the iconic Roald Dahl.Has been recently seen on various channels.Very cleverly scripted with some very surprising endings.Well worth a view.
One of the last links to the Ed Sullivan show has ended with the recent passing of Marty Allen at age 95. Marty Allen worked with Steve Rossi as the comedy duo Allen & Rossi and they did the Sullivan show 44 times. Allen was easy to spot as he sported a mane of long fluffy black hair.
I was sad to hear of the passing of David Ogden Stiers at age 75. Of course MASH fans remember him from his years on that TV show. He also did a guest shot on Star Trek-TNG as well as quite a number of other roles.
Often we just get the names in this thread of people who have passed away, however some oldtimers are still around. Of course Betty White is a well known survivor, having made it well into her 90s. Fans of the Soap " Days Of Our Lives " may remember the name Bill Hayes who is now also in his 90s. Earlier I was over on YouTube and saw a video clip from last summer where Hayes made a surprise visit to " The Tonight Show " with Jimmy Fallon. Hayes also had out a hit song in the 1950s.
Well as luck would have it we have just lost another icon of the Entertainment Industry, Frank Avruch ( age 89 ). This actor played the part of Bozo The Clown on TV from 1959 to 1970. I mean ask yourself would there have been a Ronald McDonald if there had not been a Bozo The Clown ???
A sad day for fans of " Night Court " as we have lost the Judge. Yes I just saw where Harry Anderson has passed away at age 65.

Just saw a really cute photo when I signed onto the internet. It showed Loretta Swit ( now 80 ) and Jamie Farr ( now 83 ) at the Daytime Emmy Awards a couple of days ago, very nice to see them both looking good and what a great show they were part of.
Just read where Jim Nabors has passed away at age 87. Nabors was a regular on the "Andy Griffith Show " and then later played the lead on the " Gomer Pyle USMC " TV series.
