Hi everyone. NQ8B here. If you don't know me, that's okay. I usually stay in my little capsule with my OTF friends.
I wanted to discuss spammers, trollers, and various other unsavory people here. Their motives, their reasoning, and whatever twisted joy they get out of this.
We have plenty of them here, and I hope they don't crash our mature discussion about them.
If you see one, don't engage, and remember to block and report. Do your part, and let's preserve our little corner of the internet.
Now, let the idle chatter begin.

Indeed. But let's get real, what's their deal? What makes them feel good about themselves? Dare I say, what makes them happy? Content? Able to continue their actions? So many questions, and no answers.
Trolls are people who are dealing with something unsettling or rough in their lives and use OTF and the internet as an escape from the real world. They make themselves feel better by making others feel worse. That's easy to understand.
Spammers are usually younger kids who are either newer to the internet and don't know how to interact online, or simply don't receive enough human interaction, so they seek it here.

6: That... makes sense. Thanks, basix. But, I also saw someone with a 15 year old account doing it... I give up. Understanding people is too difficult.

For the user you're mentioning, I'd guess that he or she has some sort of mental health issues or is just trolling out of spite. I couldn't tell you.
