OTF Thinking Thread
The question shows that some people have too much time on their hands if they would devise such a thing, and they're more concerned with abstract questions of morality than they are with performing morally commendable actions.
First of all I was being sarcastic secondly I dont think being sarcastic means you don't have respect for someone
A person attends a sporting event, and a storm delays the event. A person might say, sarcastically." Glad the weather is cooperating". It is sarcastic, but fun, not disrespectful. There are of course times when sarcasm is meant to be acerbic, but it need not be.
I'm always against sarcasm. It implies bitterness on the part of the speaker, and I think demonstrating bitterness is disrespectful of listeners, because there is kind of a double standard there. I'm sure the speaker doesn't want to be around bitter, sarcastic people all the time, but they act that way, because it puts them in an aggrieved posture, which people usually can't tolerate in others, but are sometimes more than willing to demonstrate in themselves.
The bunny thinks we should ration our thinking. Overthinking and ruminating seems to be causing a depression pandemic.
We should also be wearing tin foil hats instead of masks.
