You can search up ‘Alkane naming’ to find rules

You didn't specify IUPAC naming (:

#44, my bad, I actually didn't realise there were other ways of naming them. I've always used IUPAC and it seemed intuitive to me. And apparently its the global standard.

anyone gonna try #43?

dw dw it's the standard, I lost a few marks in a recent exam for not knowing a different name of an organic compound haha, thats when I realized there where different names for some of these.

#2 it sucks. All I know is what it shouldn't be.

so what shouldn't it be? What it is now, I'm guessing.

#47 ngl i know i'm too stupid to actually get an answer without blindly guessing for 20 minutes, i do know it's between 0 and 1 (although much closer to 0) though

#52, well, there are two solutions. Its a quadratic.

Avatar of PointlessR

and one of them is below 0.

Avatar of SriyoTheMid

I doubt if I can do it without a calculator or a square roots table

Avatar of PointlessR

you can leave it in exact form if you don't have a calculator. Just have it fully simplified happy.png

You're ignoring the social part of schooling. If people of different ages are in the same class, your social life would surely be impacted. Someone a few years older than you will have much different interests.

Here is the solution to #43:

Avatar of SriyoTheMid

can't we just quadratic equation it tho?

Avatar of PointlessR

that is way to solve quadratics. Its called completing the square, and can be used on any type of quadratics, meaning ones that you cannot factorise can be done like this. Specifically this is an example of completing the square when a != 1.

sometimes it is quicker to use the quadratic formula, but really it is all the same thing.

haha, sneaky Latin translation that no one is going to be able to do!
