Pathetic Clowns

I wanted to talk about clubs a bit today. All of us here have a different attitude to this concept.

There are 2 categories :

Those who are here to socialize more than to play chess , like to join many clubs and be active in them .

The others who are here to focus more on chess , prefer joining a very few clubs which are managed by strong players and 90percent of the content is about chess.

But I figured out there's a third category as well. Those who join clubs where you find girls . I noticed this habit in one user back in October last year , but now I have spotted enough number of people that I am convinced that these are not exceptions and that these people exist in considerate numbers to make up the third group a healthy and big one. 

Now I shouldn't have much issues with it , I feel this attitude honestly clumsy and disgusting. And their personality isn't different either .

Here's an anecdote. There was one guy who had quit my club . I asked him the reason behind it . He said , he only joined clubs that were extremely chess centred , had many tournaments and more high rated players . After two days I see him joining more than 10 clubs . All of them were either K-pop , or Doggy , or puppy clubs . All of them with a girl admin with a rating not higher than 900. 

Let me make it clear. I have no problems with girls and their clubs that are mostly non chess related. Neither was I trying to disrespect their rating. All I have an issue is with these clowns I mentioned already .

Also I wasn't salty about him leaving my club . Yes I was in the beginning , but now I feel better if such people don't join my club. Or I could just change my entire profile and fake my identity to get more people to my club. But it's not worth it . Also it's worth mentioning that majority of the people in this third group are middle aged and old men . Though there are young boys as well. Atleast this is what I have observed from my experience. And honestly I don't think so this is something people are unaware of . You all be speaking aggressively against stalkers and pervs who trouble girls , but do nothing about these people who are just a less toxic and a more civilized version of the former in my opinion . 

I know many are not going to agree with me , but I want to listen to your views.

I guess that's just the risk of opening an online website free to anyone
everyone is anonymous on this website, so technically there's no risk of doing it, because your identity is covered up, less someone wants to try that hard to find your location and screw you over

Wow . Thanks for posting this. I went through the members and yeah most of them are boys . What an irony. And as I expected majority of those males are middle aged men.

Actually no. I suppose I am kind of guilty of this though as I don't deliberately invite males only but in at least 1 of my clubs most of the membership (in fact 99%) is in fact males. I think there is only me and one other female in the whole club. 

That said I don't only invite males but it tends to be males that do join. 

also, I mainly use chess.com to socialize, personally I think that's fine @Lightyagami2411

there's a lot of nice people here you can have fun chatting with you won't find anyone else, and I've met a lot of cool friends and people here

i don't think chess.com support can do anything about it. If they were to, what would they do?

They already said if you don't like actions like that, just block, report, and ignore
