Phishing II

I have just been wondering, HOW MUCH PEOPLE FALL FOR OBVIOUS SCAMS?????

for example

*receives SMS from an unknown number* LAPD ALERT: Your documents were not received. Please reschedule or else an officer will be sent to your address if not resolved within 24 hours. Visit wescam.scamsite (website I made up, not a real website)

I once got an SMS from an unknown number like this once except they impersonated the RCMP. I live in Vancouver though, we use the VPD, not RCMP.

Just, who the hell is falling for these? If you ever fell for any of these, you just leaked personal information to a scammer.

I usually answer these type of messages with stupid things or memez
