My school has started and it’s hard to focus on chess since I’m tired. I LOST TO 1100s IN MY LAST TWO GAMES! Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?

It’s painful to lose against someone over 400 points lower rated than you…

Don't play when you're tired. I know it's hard to pause your chess but it may be the best thing to do.............

Ah.

you should just play chess when you're feeling more energetic. eat something, lay down for a bit, etc.

Don't play chess during school hours. I've probably lost hundreds of points over the course of my 'chess career' by playing after my Calculus classes. Either play after school hours or grind over the weekends

Have a serious time schedule.

Problem is, I’ve got a weekly Grand Prix tournament every Monday at 6:00.

Just play on the weekends, or dedicate like a half hour just to chess after classes or something
