Quiz Help

Hi guys & girls. 

I host a weekly quiz and would like to find out if any of you would be willing to contribute some questions (& answers) to help me write if as after a decade of doing it I am running out of fresh ideas. 

I try to make it a fun quiz, and try to include questions where people can guess if they dont know... so I am not looking for rocket science questions

example ... which country did Germany invade to start the first world war (answer Belgium)  

And I always start the quiz with a long hard anagram as this keeps people interested if they get the answer to a question quickly

Thank you DC jacket,  I had to google one of those.  One I knew because chess has always been my hobby and the other I had to dig deep into my school memories for.

I thought that was Poland? But then again, I got a U in history , so what do I know? (answer - nothing ). Or am I thinking of the second world war?
