I have done so w. a couple of players kind enough to do so.
Ratings

Thats what i am talking about i know that it does not help the higher rated players, but maybe it can help the lower rated players.

i play rated games usually even if it is against higher rated people. Your rating is a number. So to me it is a sign of how well i am doing, not that it needs to be really high

Hello Frank,
Nullbyte just started to invite for a tournament (non rated ) starting 1 september, perhaps it's something for you ?
Friendly greetings,
Herman

has anybody else noticed that the ratings are inflated by about 150-200 points?

There is a discussion about inflated ratings here, beginning with "Ratings are meant to measure relative strength within a pool of players." and continuing with "please consider that a rating is ONLY valued within the context of the rated group. so chess.com ratings are chess.com ratings - not FIDE, not USCF, not other sites."

I was wondering for the higher rated players why don't they play unrated games against people weaker than them so this way they can learn.
