I heard of that. Never played the games myself, but when I went in middle school I watched the walkthroughs made by Favij (Italian youtuber) and they were great

But the best ending like the canon ending is where the game franchise continues with the series so he survives in the true ending so he's technically alive and is gonna be alive for future series and if you choose the best ending you get to cure him returning him back to his youthful self like in re 4 🫶🏻😋
