Death Valley temperatures are increasing over time. The average summer high temp has gone from about 123 in the early 1900s (bolstered by the probably faked 134 reading ion 1913) to 126 in the 2020s.

The 1913 record is considered sketchy at best, by the way. Statistically the spike is already highly improbable, but using surrounding area's temperature readings at the time it's almost certainly fake.

On the contrary, statements like "10 degrees hotter worldwide would be an average planet temp of 73 degrees which is perfectly comfortable" show a lack of understanding that an 8th grade science teacher would be perturbed by in their students. A 10 degree increase means an average temp of 96'F at the equator...105'F in summer.
You live in NY/NJ? So you know that grandma is going to die at over 100'F in a heat wave without A/C in a couple of days, but you think it's just fine, even "comfortable" for an average summer day to be 105'F for weeks and months at a time in habitable areas...
And you’ve not mentioned the heat index which increases the likelihood of more deaths. We’ve just endured a HI of 118 F. It hasn’t been normal.
