Our universe happened naturally. Scientist have speculated as to how. Talked about the quantum world being different than the macroscopic world. About natural forces creating matter . Sure we don't know all the details but we don't need to pretend that means nature isn't the answer .
Life happened naturally on earth. All we are is matter naturally evolving . All our thoughts feelings and behaviour are a part of nature . There is no I . No free will. No self . Just a meaningless pattern.

So what do we do in response?
We relax. We be healthy. We don't worry. We just let go and go with the flow . Don't try to understand everything .
Let go and be present . Live in the moment . Be who we naturally are and notice what's there . Be mindful .
Right here, right now . We'll naturally love and naturally enjoy . We human beings naturally love . We just need to relax .
Like your mom said "be yourself".
