Rowan and Ivy looked at each other in dismay. "Another quest? What is this madness?", asked Rowan. "Quests have I enough! Surely there is someone else? I cannot endure all of these quests alone!" 

Brian smiled, "I have these things to promise as well. 1. That you shall not be alone, 2. This is a quest for you as much as for others, and 3. Somewhere along the way you must make a decision that will be unpleasant and pleasant at the same time." With these further confusing words he melted into the forest, the animals disappearing as well. Rowan sensed something foreboding, and turned around quickly, lest he be surprised. There was nothing that he could see.
