i love that rendition of hallelujah. i think that was live with the london philharmonic from memory?

KD's version of Roy Orbison's crying is also simply amazing.

but on leonard cowen, here's another rendition from another artist Rufus Wainwright.( who i've seen in concert many times and i love). Quality is poor from someone's cam or something, but his more commercial versions are in a different key. One thing i love about Rufus's version is his regard for english and his refusal to say do ya, rather do you.

he's simply a musical genius with a baritone voice as if that wasn't enough. he's changed the key to great effect. this, in part, is what makes him so special.
