When Friendship Slowly Turned Into Pressure

Friendship is meant to be a safe space built on trust, respect, and understanding. In the beginning, everything felt normal between [removed -- MS] and [removed]  . They talked regularly, shared thoughts, and interacted like friends do. From her side, it was only friendship—nothing more, nothing promised.

Things became worse when [removed] tried to publicly shame [removed] by putting her in a so-called “hall of shame.” Public humiliation is deeply wrong. No one deserves to be embarrassed or targeted simply for refusing to date someone....

Targeting and Abusing Friends

His anger didn’t stop with her. He started targeting [removed] friends as well. He abused them verbally, insulted them, and picked fights with anyone who supported her. Instead of handling rejection maturely, he chose to spread negativity and turn a personal issue into a toxic conflict involving many people....

Blocking Didn’t End the Harassment

To protect her mental peace, [removed] blocked him. But even that didn’t stop him. He contacted her again using another account, clearly crossing boundaries. He then claimed that he was dating someone else and said that she was “just time pass.” Saying such things after forcing, insulting, and harassing someone is deeply hurtful and completely unacceptable....

Why This Behavior Is Unacceptable..

No one has the right to:

Force someone into a relationship

Insult or shame someone even after being treated politely

Abuse or harass their friends

Contact someone through alternate accounts

Play with emotions and then deny responsibility

Rejection handled with respect should never be answered with abuse.... .....

A Message That Matters

This incident reflects a serious issue many people face. Consent, respect, and boundaries matter. Even when someone rejects politely and with kindness, their decision must be respected. Real care never turns into pressure, insults, or abuse....!!!.

Tbh this is normal on chess.com and I get at least 5 new guys dming me per day don’t engage in a conversation with them if they seem normal just be very dry but if they have weird interactions with you or a weird username block them it just usually doesn’t reach this point becuase most people will shut it down pretty quick

Idk about girls' POV but as a guy, I've met a dozen interesting guys and even girls and we have chatted so much. Genuinely I made good friends here. The only reason contacts broke are due to off the board stuff going on in life, not visiting the site often and thus leading to faded conversations and friendships.

So yeah, interact nicely in the beginning imo but if things get out of hand, ghost them. If you are on social media, you should have enough mental power to ignore the people you want to ignore no matter how much hatred is in their messages or how eager you are to see their response or whatever....

(Subjective opinion tho. As I said, Im a chill guy hanging around everywhere so idk others' pov.)
