Masaki is about to leave the room when Yuna approaches him again.

“I’ve always been following you. You don’t know how interesting you are. The brilliant and introverted Masaki Okuda, the silent genius. People want to know you.”

Masaki turns around.

“And that’s why you’ve been stalking me for months, huh?”

Flashback:

A series of brief scenes: Masaki with his headphones on the bus, Yuna two rows behind him; Masaki winning the chess tournament, Yuna watching in the background; Masaki walking hand in hand with Miya, Yuna on the other side of the street.

Back to the present:

Masaki looks at the pinboard on the back wall of the school newspaper office. Several articles written by Yuna are pinned there: “Masaki Okuda – Between Brilliance and Insanity,” “Okuda’s Facets: Why He’s More Than Just a Loner,” “Poet or Lyrical Idiot? The Poem Masaki Okuda,” and even “Okuda vs. Hoshino – Is Miya Matsumoto into Smart or Sporty Guys?”

Masaki clenches his fists

“You know what? I’ve got a headline for you: ‘Yuna Shibasaki – How to Stalk Masaki Okuda.’”

He takes a short break before throwing a cold view at Yuna and talks in a threatening voice

“Go ahead. Write that article. Or I swear, I’ll drag you to hell myself. Die before I get the chance to kill you.”

He turns around to the door

“Don’t you ever follow me again.”

The door slams shut behind him, leaving Yuna alone
