The forums have been getting worse for years. Loads of adults have already left. I guess every non-kid reaches their breaking point eventually. I guess April of 2021 is yours.

I’m absolutely fine with children here, but if there was an additional category in Forums for them it would I do believe be fantastic and threads run a whole lot smoother, given they keep their fun childlike threads within that category and if they come to the other threads ease the behavior they would use there, is what I’m getting at.

Yeah, as in a few mods, and maybe Shaun care, but (apparently) the people who could make changes don't care at all.
r/chess (reddit) has a rule "no low effort posts" which, if implemented here, would remove 90+ percent of the children.
