I had decided to pay
the illustrious
Mr. William Cooper
a visit.
But after googling his address…
I discovered that Cooper actually lived
at the Pale Horse Saloon...
which was
down
the
road…
in nearby Eagar, Arizona.
That’s Ok…or so I thought.
I HAVE to get out of Winslow anyway...
before the flatbed Ford that I “borrowed”...
is discovered missing.
So I found the nearest exit out of Winslow…
and turned East…
in the direction of the Pale Horse Saloon.
But it was too late…
The road was already blocked by the police.
I then quickly made a u turn
and headed west…
out into the desert…
towards Devil’s Canyon.
They would NEVER look for me there.
