Super-frustrated with Artificial Intelligence image generators trying to do pictures of Chess

I can’t tell you how frustrated I am… but I’ll try! 😀 I’m trying to get various AI image generators to create an image for our chess club, the Red Rooks.

Here is the prompt the image generator said it was using, but then it completely ignores these instructions!

“A high-resolution, photo-realistic image of an 8x8 tournament chessboard with alternating green and white squares and standard chess notation (files a–h, ranks 1–8) along the borders. The board is completely empty except for exactly two vivid red rooks, one placed on square d4 and the other on square e5. The image is minimalistic, with dramatic, clean lighting emphasizing the board’s textures and colors, and no other chess pieces are present.”

The results is always the same. A board size much larger than 8x8. Lots and lots of chess pieces on the board or on the edge of the board. The two red rooks in the center are nowhere to be found. If there is a piece in the middle of the board, it is a Queen or some other piece and it isn’t a rook, and there’s never more than one.

I’m not trying to get someone to generate this image for me, but if you find an image generator that can do this correctly, please let me know which one it is so I can start using it!

So very, very, very frustrating! 😢😢😢
