Welcome to another episode of Cooking with Chip! Except it’s not a cooking show anymore. Today, instead of burning pies and using paper as a replacement for milk, as well as completely ditching ideas out of sheer laziness, we’re gonna be discussing dreams with my friend and pal, Mark. How ya doin’, Mark?
黙れ、農民。(Great so far! How about’cha?)
Oh, I’m doing perfect today, Mark, thank you for asking! Anyways, today we’ll be discussing how dreams work, why we have ‘em, and the psychology behind them! Let’s get right into it!
ああ、やれやれ！(Nice!)
Ok, so. Most of you are probably familiar with the concept of dreams. But why do we have them? Well, there are a few theories.
私の計画に戻ってもいいでしょうか？ 私には征服しなければならない惑星がある。(There are theories? I’ve never thought about this much…)
Well, Mark, ya better get reading.

I know, right? Anyways, some even think that dreams have some sort of hidden, subliminal meaning! For example, some say that dreams about falling down long distances can mean that you’re insecure or unstable, or maybe anxious about something!
まあ、プププランドの政権は確かに不安定ですね。(That sucks, doesn’t it?)
Yeah, no one likes anxiety. Anyways, to better understand dreams, my friend Tamago has built a machine with which you can view other’s dreams!
マーク、神に誓って、君はあの風船ガムのようなものに手を出したくないはずだ。(That’s me. Mark’s been so excited to try it, so let’s get right into it.)
Mark lays down in bed. Tamago casts a spell and Mark falls asleep. Then, Tamago turns the machine on, and an image starts to appear in its screen.
Hey look, it’s working!
ニルよ、私の魂を憐れんで下さい。(Impressive, isn’t it?)
A purple eyeball appears in the screen. Mark shivers.
Ah, that’s…
…interesting.
素晴らしい。本当に素晴らしい。そして私はカービーに電話することができません。彼は私を決して許さないでしょう。(Ah great, now we need to go inside his mind or something.)
デデデ、ゲットするよ… (So scary…)
Great, now the Dream Police or whatever they were called will have to come over.
Chip sighs.
Oh well, I guess we can end it here.
