Will Broad walk this time?

Broad went to score 28 more runs; Australia lost by 14 runs. I wonder if anything will be said at the next test.

And I hope Root and Warner are not out clubbing together, that didn't end up well last time... (although Warner did get some hooking practice :p)

29 for 5, 45 minutes into the first session, who would believe it!

29-6!! Broad has figures of 4-3-6-5!

What a start

Broad 8-15!

Broad's Wikipedia page is getting a lot of edits... Many funny ones in there: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stuart_Broad&oldid=674824911

Australia will be ashamed of their cricketers, pretty rubbish. i feel sorry for the people with tickets tomorrow who won't see much cricket, meanwhile Alistair Cook and the gang will be supping

by the gallon, happy days again for English cricket

Yep. That was an absoulute disaster. We could use a few of Kimbolton's U-15's right now

Shane Warne was interesting today in the Sunday Times column he occasionally writes, today he was back in Melbourne. laid into Hayden and Symonds, didn't name any other former players for having a go at Clarke but hinted there were more. apparently the media in Oz are blaming the 'WAGS' for Australia getting beat rather than them being outplayed. lol

I'm looking forward to the Oval test, and I'll post a weather update here midweek hopefully

pretty amazing that Shane Warne was back in England for the Oval test, talk about jet set! anyway, not much worse than a dead rubber, it's 26 months until it kicks off again down under, a nice gap Wink

Please don't pay attention to anything Shane Warne says... The guy has no credibility as a commentator/journalist. On day one of this test he was saying that Siddle had no future in the test side. In the fourth test he tried to stir up a controversy because the umpires thought there was time for an extra over before lunch and he didn't. It's got to the point where there's just no point listening to him.

Looks like our lot can only play in London and we're abysmal everywhere else in England, but it was nice to send Rogers and Clarke off in style. Looking forward to the next seriesLaughing

I think Warne is ok if you take him with a pinch of salt Wink we also had Ricky Ponting commentating here in England and he was miles better.

3-2 is a fair result I reckon, it was a great series.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the cricket from both sides to be honest. Obviously we played awfully in three of the tests while England were poor in the other two, and it seemed like both sides were reliant on a couple of stars to mask the poor efforts of the rest of the team. Either England was winning comfortably or Australia was... after the first test none of the games even felt like a contest. But as you said, 3-2 was a fair result. Hopefully we'll win them back next time around :)

I 100% agree with you about Ponting's commentary- He's done the Big Bash for the last two years and he's easily one of the best commentators I've ever heard! Hope to hear him covering the next Ashes series
