Sad how Pink Floyd went from humourous, energetic and wild with Syd to a slow, plodding, flat-lined sound for the rest of their career. One of the most overrated bands. (IMO)

Best Paul McCartney I have heard since....The Beatles, I guess. 

I understand Paul wanted to make an entire album with Nirvana. But Courtney found out, and that was the end of that.

Shame. I'd have given that a go.

I think Cobain basically wrote everything for Nirvana - they never co-wrote very much. So a different frontman really is an entirely different band.

Different than something like Alice In Chains where Cantrell did a lot of the writing and singing.

Here's a very early Dave Grohl song which he wrote for Nirvana.

For example: Chuck Berry & Johnny B Good.

So I went back to the cabin like a zombie, for the last time, sat behind Cassie Gaines, over the left wing. The impact was like a thousand people with baseball bats repeatedly beating on the side of the fuselage. The whole thing lasted about 12 seconds. That’s a long time to be crashing. Car wrecks are only a couple of seconds. We hit pine trees as big around as a fat man’s body. We were taking out those trees. I looked out of my window, and saw the left wing come off with the engine. That was during the violent baseball bat time. And then everything went completely silent. I will never forget that silence as long as I live. I had pain, and I wanted to make sure my legs were there, and of course, my manhood.

i was going to say CCR, but CCR was just another band if not John Fogerty.

CCR always was and will always be John Fogerty.

instead of a throwback why not just build a tall fence around it, it makes since to me.
