I mean to topic to base the conversation on. That’s the only way people will actually do anything. You don’t need to have a topic. Letting the other posters decide it is a good idea. Like in OTFDAN, people switch all the time.

Agreed. The problem is that barely anyone has posted here, and I’m assuming that they’re viewing this as somewhere where they’re limited on what they can talk about. I don’t want this to be seen as a prison

too many conversations at once, and there are mostly spammers and brainrot
not actual fun conversations in my opinion, people go there bc it's "cool"
There are a number of conversations. Before OTFDAN became a cult classic, the main allure of it was its spontaneity. You could just start another conversation, change the topic and talk about several different things. Usually people dislike OTFDAN because of the lower post quality.
It’s not that simple. Since all large threads are conversation based, OTFDAN took off because of it literally being optimised. There was a bit of luck involved. After that, OTFDAN became a reflection of OTF itself. It’s closest ‘relative’ is OTF, not any other thread.

It was around before OTFDAN, much longer before. It was around 2 years ago, probably the first place I commented

The Forum of Sneaking was a pretty interesting thread I must say. I think most of the really good posts I remember back from when I first joined have died off by this point, for the most part.
